Tehran’s Daily Newspaper Review
On the eve of talks with the P5+1, Iran announced its self-reliance in production of a strategically important nuclear product, yellow cake (from Iranian-mined uranium), and will sit at the table of negotiations with boosted confidence. In Tehran, the judiciary tried Kaveh Eshtehardi, editor-in-chief of Iran newspaper, organ of the government, on charges of libel against Mahdi Hashemi, son of Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. Eshtehardi used the trial as a platform to point further accusations against Mahdi Hashemi. Four ministries will be integrated into their sister departments in the administration by Majles’ decision.
