Iran strongly condemns terrorist attack against Muslim mourners in Pakistan
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman strongly condemned a terrorist attack against Muslim mourners who attended a ceremony on Imam Hussein (PBUH) martyrdom anniversary in Punjab province of Pakistan on Thursday.
Releasing a statement, Saeed Khatibzadeh offered his deep condolences to the families of victims of the terrorist act made against Muslim who had attended in the Ashura day mourning ceremonies for the third Imam of Shia Muslims in eastern Pakistan's province of Punjab.
Khatibzadeh emphasized the need for fighting all forms of inhumane terrorist acts and called for the cooperation of all regional countries to punish the perpetrators, organizers, supporters and sponsors of such moves.
At least three people were killed by a bomb blast and 50 more were injured in Punjab on Thursday.
