KAYHAN
-Torture increases in Turkish prisons
The United Nations reports that, following the unsuccessful coup by the army in Turkey, cases of torture in this country have increased.
-3 million amputations, result of US proxy war in Syria
According to a report published by the UN, during the five years of civil war in Syria, three million people have had amputations.
IRAN
-Rouhani: We will not allow any country to weaken JCPOA based on its wishes
In his meeting with the special envoy of the Russian President, Rouhani reiterated that all P5+1 member countries must fulfill their commitments based on the JCPOA.
-Zarif: If sanctions return, we will no longer remain committed to JCPOA
In his meeting with Indian elites and experts, Foreign Minister Zarif stated that he does not believe that the JCPOA is faced with problems, but he stressed that all options are on the table in Iran with regard to the US’ non-fulfillment of its commitments.
