Iran’s Deputy FM: Israel Using WMDs against Palestinians in Gaza

(FNA)- Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian condemned Israel for continuing its savage attacks against the defenseless Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, and said that Tel Aviv has used unconventional weapons against the Gaza people.

"The US has already equipped Tel Aviv with different kinds of weapons and the regime is using weapons of mass destruction against the Gazans," Amir Abdollahian said.

He noted that Israel has hundreds of nuclear warheads who pose a lot of danger to the entire Middle East region.

Meantime, Amir Abdollahian renewed Iran's support for the Palestinian people's resistance, and said, "Iran is waiting for Egypt's permission to use its border to send humanitarian aid to Gaza and transfer the wounded to Iran for treatment."

He also noted that Iran is continuing its all-out diplomatic efforts to halt Israeli aggression on Gaza and help lift the siege on the territory.

Earlier this month, Ayatollah Khamenei strongly condemned the recent Israeli attacks on the Palestinians, and underlined that Palestinians should continue their armed struggle against Tel Aviv.

"The armed resistance by the Palestinians is the only way to confront Israel," Ayatollah Khamenei underscored.

The Iranian Supreme Leader noted that criminal acts of wolfish, child-killer Zionist regime in Gaza have revealed its true nature, and said, "Only way to solve this problem is full annihilation and destruction of the Zionist regime.

Israel has been pounding the blockaded Gaza for 25 consecutive days, killing at least 1,400 people and injuring more than 8,200 others.
