Iran holds cultural, artistic exhibition in Uzbekistan

Press TV - Iran has mounted a cultural and artistic exhibition in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent to mark the 33rd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

 
Iran’s Ambassador to Uzbekistan Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh attended the inauguration ceremony of the event along with representatives of some other countries and Uzbek officials at the Iranian embassy. 


Engraved handicrafts, calligraphic creations, paintings, photos and miniatures have been presented at the event in an attempt to introduce Persian culture and history to visitors. 


 The Iranian music ensemble, Chavosh Behbahan also performed Persian traditional music during the opening ceremony. 


Iran’s cultural attaché in Tashkent introduced parts of Iranian history and traditions during a speech and stated that such exhibitions and cultural exchanges help nations to become more acquainted with different cultures.
