“Musavi and Karrubi are US minions”. This tough remark uttered by moderate conservative Mohsen Rezaee –once accused of hypocrisy and wavering in supporting the establishment- proves how the political vein has radicalized after the 25th of Bahman protests by the Green Movement. MPs’ chants of death even targeted the mild-mannered former president Mohammad Khatami.

In his meeting with Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei praised Turkey’s policy shift towards the Muslim world and slammed Britain for sowing rift among Muslims.
